TouchStar is a standalone and self-contained device designed to provide irrefutable personal identification for Door Access or Time and Attendance Systems. It uses the advanced biometric technology that eliminates "buddy punching" which is apparent in traditional card reader. To further enhance the security level, a proximity card reader is also incorporated into TouchStar, to enable precise and high security personl identification coupled with speed and accuracy.
